PSTN Access over Packet-Switched Networks (IP, MPLS, Ethernet)
Description
PSTN access is offered over packet-switched networks. IPmux allows access to the PSN using fiber infrastructure, while LA uses DSL technology to access the network over widespread existing copper lines. TDM-based services are delivered while enabling connectivity of office PBXs into the PSTN over a PSN.
Benefits & Features
• Reduces Opex by using existing and ubiquitous copper (DSL) infrastructure
• Uses fiber infrastructure for high bandwidth data and TDM services
• Offers the same service over DSL or fiber infrastructures
